Whether you're a pool player or just a fan of the game, the Billiard Congress of America (BCA) is a leading organization that organizes billiard sports and promotes the game throughout the United States. It is headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado, and has a presence in Atlanta, Georgia. The BCA, as an organization, is involved in all aspects of the sport and has played a major role in the promotion and development of 3-Cushion billiards and snooker.
The BCA is also a governing body that is tasked with overseeing and providing input on the rules and specifications of games and tournaments. BCA has a significant role in the sanctioning of tournaments. It also offers education resources and leadership opportunities that promote the game and pool.
The BCA is a major promoter of pool and has been an organizer of billiards in the United States for over a century. The organization promotes the sport through education and leadership opportunities, and supports the development of the next generation of players through programs and scholarships. The Billiard Congress of America Hall of Fame was established to honor outstanding players and contributors.
The Official Rules and Records Book has been produced by the organization. This book contains all the rules that are used by the World Pool-Billiard Asociation (WPA). It also provides a guide that explains the rules for various other games. The U.S. Open 14.1 Championships are also promoted through the BCA.

Since 1982, it has hosted the BCA Expo. It will be joining forces with Amusementexpo International (AEI) during the March 27-30 2023 Las Vegas event.
Billiard Congress of America Official Rules and Records Book also remains in the BCA. It has rules for all games of billiards, including nine-ball. The book also includes rules for games not open to international competition.
While not as focused as the APA on league play (the BCA), it is one of largest supporters of the sport. It offers referral services and educational resources as well as leadership opportunities and leadership opportunities.
