
Joe Perry is someone you've probably seen snooker for a while. He is a British player who has played snooker for many seasons. But he has also had a couple of seasons in the top reaches of the game. He made it to the Top 16 of the game in 2002. He has been in the Top 20 for three seasons.
Joe Perry was referred to as "the Fen Potter" and also "the Gentleman." He is a native of the Cambridgeshire area and became a professional in 1992. Since 2003, he has been a full time professional. His brother, Ken, has also been a professional.
Perry has been a constant fixture on the global stage, despite never having won a major ranking contest. In 2011, he was among the top eight provisional ranking for the first time. In 2015, he won a minor rank event. He participated in a battle alongside Ronnie O'Sullivan this year.

Perry has participated in both the UK Championship finals as well the European Open finals. He reached the quarter-finals for the World Championship. In 2004, he reached the semi-finals of the UK Championship, but he lost to David Gray. The following season, he defeated Stuart Bingham and Judd Trump, but he went on to lose to Stephen Hendry in the final.
He began his snooker life at the age 12 and became a top professional in early 1990s. He reached finals in the European Open 2001. In late spring 2001, he won the Welsh Open. In 2014, he participated in the Wuxi Classic.
In the same year, he defeated Matthew Stevens, Marco Fu, and Jamie Cope to reach the semi-finals in the World Championship. He was awarded his second ranking title. He also participated in the Xuzhou Open, and the Welsh Open. He fell to a 14th-place finish at the end.
Despite falling to Stephen Hendry or Graeme Dott at the Welsh Open Masters, he is now in the top 50 of the world rankings. He has won the Welsh Open Masters, the Welsh Open Masters, and the Xuzhou Open on his way to the top. And he has also run courses to teach people how to play the game.

He's made many attempts to beat Ronnie O'Sullivan over the course of his career. He won a 9-5 victory during the first round, 2008 UK Championship. He was just one frame from the Masters 2017 finals but lost to Ronnie O'Sullivan.
In the first round, he defeated Mark Selby, the current champion. He also won the Xuzhou Open in 2015. He also has several courses and is a BBC guest commentator.
