A player could break the maximum by potting all 15 of the reds or all 15 blacks in a single frame for 120 points. For 27 points, you can pot all six colors in a single frame to break the limit.

He is now the world number one and will defend his title. He is also in line for another major reward. Jimmy White's 1992 break of 147 was one of the most iconic snooker breaks. The British professional had a fantastic career and was one of the most popular snooker players of all time. He won the UK Championship, Masters, and six World Championship finals. Despite his successes, he was not able to win The Crucible.
