
The World Trick Shot Championships is a worldwide championship of trick shot pool. It was held on snooker tables for the first time in 1991. Matchroom Sport organized it. Matchroom Sport organized it. In 2005, the competition took place at Celtic Manor.
Many professional billiards players from around the world began performing tricks shots in the 1970s. These players were awarded prizes including the World Championship of Artistic Pool (ICCP), the International Challenge Cup and the Swedish Championship. Trick shot is a type of pool that is sanctioned by the World Pool-Billiard Alliance. Trick shot artists not only play in tournaments but also teach the sport to others.
Mike Massey has been a world-famous trick shot artist since the late 1970s. He has played many games with sports celebrities, such as Jason Gedrick and Paul Sorvino. Massey has been an important figure in the sport both as an instructor, and as a fundraiser. His performances at the Waste Management Pheonix Open and the Volvo PGA at Wentworth have garnered him a significant level of visibility.

Mike Massey taught professional athletes such as Scott Baiin, Dean Cain, James Tolkan, and James Tolkan. He has competed in several international professional competitions. In 2002, he was part of Team U.S.A. which won the trick shot championship world title. This team also performed in Abu Dhabi at the HSBC Championships and Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.
Jim Sommer is another talented trick shot artist. He has participated at many international Trick-shot turning competitions and has also traveled all over the United States to compete for the US Nationals. He is the US Nationals Artistic Pool Champion.
The World Trick Shot Artists Association (WTSAA) is an organization of trick shot artists from all over the world. Paul Gerni is the organizer of the association. The WTSAA books contains 160 tricks. These tricks include the machine gun shot and the quick-fire shot. Other tricks shots include the "pro", "extreme", and "prop" shots.
Tim "The Dragon", the 2022 US Nationals Artistic Pool Champion in Artistic Pool, won the title by beating Jason "The Michigan Kid", Lynch in the finals. Both Chin and Lynch are WPA World Ranked. However, Chin has the advantage of being a seasoned professional, while Lynch is still a student at Ohio State.

On October 9-10, Trick Shot Magic will host its next event. The event will include eight international stars. They will compete for a prize of $40,000. Each player will get to choose between six and ten of the predetermined shots. After choosing their favorites, each player will be given three chances to complete the shot. The player with the most successful shot will receive a point.
Geoff McIlroy has been the greatest trick shot artist on the planet for many years. Noel Hunt inspired him and he began to practice trick shots. He has met people he never imagined and fallen from ladders. But he hasn't stopped trying.
