The film also features the "goodbye Johnny", and the "Do It for the Game" trick shots. The first shows how a player could use a dead bank. The second, which was not shown in the movie but is a clever way for a player to learn how to play billiards shots.
There are many movies that include a billiards-themed theme. There are even comedy pool movies. There are also a few films that focus solely on the sport. Even the movie "Billy the Kid and the Green Baize Vampire", which is about a snooker game, centers around it.
